Account deletion is permanent. Please read this page carefully before proceeding.

⚠️ What Happens When You Delete Your Account

🗑️ Data that will be PERMANENTLY DELETED:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your account login credentials (Firebase Authentication)
  • Your saved cart items
  • Your saved favourites / wishlist

📋 Data that may be retained (for legal/business purposes):

  • Inquiry / order records may be kept for up to 3 years as required by Indian business and tax law. Your personal contact information in these records will be anonymised where possible.

✅ This action is irreversible

  • Once your account is deleted, you cannot recover it
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use SB Gold again
  • Your deletion request will be processed within 30 days

📱 Option 1: Delete Account In-App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the app:

Open the SB Gold app

Make sure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.

Go to Profile

Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar, or tap the "Profile" button in the top navbar.

Scroll to the bottom of the Profile page

Find the "Delete Account" section, shown with a red border at the very bottom of the page.

Enter your current password

For security, we require you to re-enter your password to confirm the deletion.

Tap "Delete My Account"

Confirm the deletion. Your account and personal data will be queued for deletion. You will be logged out immediately.

📧 Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to contact us directly, send us a deletion request email. We will process it within 30 days and send you a confirmation.

Clicking this will open your email app with a pre-filled template. Subject: "Account Deletion Request"

📅 Deletion Timeline

Day 0

Request Submitted

You tap "Delete My Account" in the app (or email us). Your account is immediately deactivated and you are logged out.

Within 7 days

Active Data Deleted

Your profile, cart, and favourites are permanently deleted from our systems.

Within 30 days

Full Deletion Complete

All personal data is removed from active databases and backups. You will receive an email confirmation (if email is still accessible).

Up to 3 years

Anonymised Business Records

Inquiry/order records required by law are retained but your personal identifiers are anonymised. This is required under Indian business regulations.
